The taxonomy, morphology and ecology of Chalcides ocellatus from Northern Cyprus (T:R.N.C.) is examined and some biological features of the population were observed. Also, the population of Chalcides ocellatus in Northern Cyprus is compared with the data of the populations of the Aegean and Mediterranean Islands and with Anatolian population too.

Bu çalışmada Kuzey Kıbrıs'daki Chalcides ocellatus'un taksonomisi, morfolojisi ve ekolojisi incelenmiş olup,biyolojisine ilişkin bazı özellikler gözlenmiştir. Ayrıca Kuzey Kıbrıs'daki Chalcides ocellatus populasyonu, Ege ve Akdeniz ada populasyonları ile Anadolu populasyonlarına ait değerlerle ayrıntılı olarak karşılaştırılmıştır.
