Ege University Astronomy Club was founded in March 1992 by the students and academic staff of EU Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences. It is the most effective way of communicating between amateur astronomers of Turkey due to the first and only popular astronomy monthly, "Astronomi Magazin" which was founded in April 1992.
